Norled AS is a fully owned subsidiary of Stavangerske Dampskibselskap. With 80 vessels the company covers much of the regular traffic along the Norwegian west-coast. In 2009, then Tide Sjø, Norled started up high speed ferries and boats along the inner fjord of Oslo, including routes between Nesodden and Aker Brygge. From 2011 Norled also has activity in North Troms. Norled has approx. 1400 employees and the company has a turnover of approx. 1.6 MNOK annually. Norled AS has administrative offices in Bergen and Stavanger, as well as regional offices in Ålesund and Oslo.
