New CEO at Utkilen AS

Shipowner Ove Utkilen and the company’s chair of the board, Bjørn Sjaastad picked the new CEO from Odfjell Tankers. This is the first time the company hires a female top manager. Siri-Anne Mjåtvedt has her first day at Utkilens Monday 1st October.
Utkilen is a full-integrated shipping company with chartering, operation, technical operation and manning, in addition to administrative functions. The company has over 270 seafarers.
Siri-Anne Mjåtvedt has been employed by Odfjell in more or less her whole working life. She completed her MBA in France and added a master of shipping and logistics at Copenhagen Business School – also known as the Blue Master.
Utkilen has carried out a sizeable renewal of the fleet the last few years, 4 20,000 tons stainless steel tankers and 4 9,000 tons stainless steel tankers with ice class.
